- Remove one electrode pack (3 electrodes included) from the box and place electrodes within the white outlines inside the garment. Plug the electrode wires into the garment wire sockets. Push the electrode wires back into the garment.
- Electrodes will turn dry after a few weeks of use or sometimes sooner. Replace electrodes frequently. Electrodes are reusable if they are clean and without any sign of visible damage or dryness, and still tacky.
- The percentage of battery remaining for the e-vive controller is displayed on your e-vive app. The battery icon will turn red when the remaining battery is less than 26%. You may not be able to access a treatment session or range of motion test until the e-vive controller is re-charged. When fully charged, the controller can deliver at least three 20-minute treatments.
- To charge your e-vive device, turn off the controller and remove from the garment dock. Attach the small end of the supplied universal USB charging cable into the left side of your controller. Insert the larger end of the cable into a standard 5V USB wall charger adapter for the electrical outlet. The e-vive controller battery will be fully charged in approximately 4 hours.
About your e-vive system
The app home screen, or e-vive Dashboard, allows you to view your weekly progress, begin stimulation treatment for muscle strengthening, as well as test your range of motion. The top section of the page will display a Dashboard Ring of your daily progress. Each day you will be asked to conduct two 20-minute stimulation muscle strengthening sessions and a range of motion test.
To reduce the risk of skin irritation or burns, utilize a small amount of gel to hydrate the skin where the electrodes will be placed on the leg for each treatment session.
For hygiene reasons, the conductive garment is intended for single person use only. Do not hand wash or machine wash, submerge, or dry clean the conductive garment. If the conductive garment picks up debris or dirt, clean it using a damp, soft cloth and mild soap.
